Mt Pleasant Little League Hall of Fame
While we don’t volunteer to be recognized, these HoF’ers below went above and beyond in their efforts. As such, they should be recognized for their community services:

Dr. Arnold Hahn - In 1951, Dr Arnold Hahn helped start the league associated with Little League. It was one of two leagues started in Providence for Little League's inaugural year.  He would go on and help nourish and grow the league from the original 4 teams, which his wife had hand sewn all the league's uniforms.  

David & Mary Weisenburger - They were instrumental in forming the girl's softball league

Raymond Ferruolo - Raymond graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in Providence before being drafted to play minor league baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals in Hannibal, MO. Ray’s love of sports carried through his life, coaching baseball in the Mt. Pleasant Little League for two decades beginning in the early 1970s 

Thomas Izzo - Had a very distinguished coaching career at Mt Pleasant Little League. He started in 1978 and finished in 1993, for a long tenured 15 years. In 1990, he took the Boys Major All-Star team to new heights. On the league's second attempt at a state title, his team won the 1990 State Little League Championship, beating Warwick West Side 1-0.

Robert Burke

Louis Box - Lou has been a long time head coach for girls softball. After his children and grandchildren passed through the league, Lou has kept his presence felt at the field as vice president.
